A combination of Media Studies and Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point are currently involved in taking a Film Festival Planning, Presentation, and Promotion course this fall under the supervision of Professor Jim O’Connell and Kevin Obsatz. Within this course, we are creating our own film festival from the ground up for the Stevens Point community.
This class is a great opportunity for students to learn how to put on a successful event within a community that can sustain an exciting and engaging Stevens Point tradition. Your support for this event will help us improve student and community engagement through film, media, and collaborative efforts within the Stevens Point community.

Points Unknown Film Festivals (PUFF) mission is to celebrate outsider, emerging, and unconventional talents across genres of film and media. We are focused on short work for our initial iteration of the festival. We hope it will continue to grow and evolve in future years!
We strive to create an accessible, joyful and profoundly unique experience for our filmmakers and our audiences, and we hope you will join us in collaboration for our inaugural festival in March of 2027.
